Oi Polloi

Founded by vocalist Deek Allen and other friends from school in Edinburgh, they recently recorded an album in Scottish Gaelic. They've been touring and making records continuously since 1981 because 'We're not interested in the mainstream music business and prefer to organise our releases and tours through the underground DIY punk network.'

Always an adrenaline rush Oi Polloi are supporters of direct action against sexism, homophobia, imperialism, and in defence of the environment, hunt sabotage, and anti-fascism. They attack topics with ferocity and humour resulting in anthems like 'Bash the Fash', 'Free The Henge', 'Pigs For Slaughter' and 'Let The Boots Do The Talking'
